Etching on a granite monument

what a striking scene of good vs evil, the scales being balanced meaning the angel is the defender of justice maybe?  this a great start to February's theme! thanks for sharing Greg.

Never painted an angel hmmmm

give it a try Jim.  paint your own version of an angel!

It's my interpretation fo the Catholic Saint Michael The Archangel in battle with Satan... I'm not Catholic, so that's all I know of the story, lol. It was taken from a customers picture, easy to find online.

Here's one of my new favorites!

Maureen: love your contribution to this month's angel theme and thank you for taking the time to explain what mediums you used to create this work!

Bill: this is an interesting approach to the angel theme.  it seems to be lit up like a neon sign!  how did you render this piece?

Suzanne: what a beautiful petite collage with a powerful message.  I just love it.

okay you guys. you've all raised the bar pretty high for the rest of us that don't have anything to contribute yet lol!  well done!

Do not see this as a bar my dear friend! See this as food for inspiration! You are an amazing talent...so just dip your toe in the water and GO!
