Like the title states I am a first time Acrylic user. Anyone have any tips and/or suggestions on it? I find myself confused as how to use this properly. Any input would really help, thanks!!!

HI Laura,

What type of information would you like to know.  You can use Acrylics like oil (thick) or you can use it like watercolors(thin)

Practice blending

Hi Laura that's a big shopping list!  Out of all those things I use flow improver which I find can slow drying times when I use it.  I use a spray varnish to protect finished works so it's invisible to the naked eye.  I don't tend to use varnish on paintings I'm going to keep in my personal portfolio - only on canvases and work I sell.  Good luck - I adore acrylics for their versatility and drying times so I hope you'll have as much fun with it as I do!

Sorry I got confused - I meant Lea that's a big shopping list.  It's Monday - my brain never works properly on a Monday! :)
