How do you store your magazine clippings?

Started by Thaneeya McArdle. Last reply by Susanne Skene Dec 17, 2011. 14 Replies

I share your love of spontaneous art and writing as a creative process. I have found it very helpful when I am at the beginning stages of a new project or when I am feeling stuck! Thanks for sharing these Laura. Very interesting images!

I have been doing a series of spontaneous collages along with spontaneous writing that goes with each one as part of a free course over at my own site. I am continuously fascinated at how, no matter how quickly I chose the images and put them to paper, when I look back they end up having a common theme that means something to me...I just wanted to share a few of these collages with you all....

I'm new at colleges but wanted to show what I have done.  I enjoyed doing them and would appreate any input to make them better.  This really is my first attempt and see areas where I could do better.  Kip

Laura I love the butterflies flowing from her head like hair...the perfect symbol of transformation!

Hello everyone! I know I have been away way too long, but I am back now, and just wanted to share a mixed media collage with you that I did recently....I used fabric, paper, paint, inks, and glitter paints to do the entire thing. My base was 140lb watercolor paper...

I call it "Butterfly girl" because of the butterfly print in the fabric I made her hair from.
