Morning Anton, and everyone!  Although I won't be on this forum 24/7, I will look in fairly regularly, conditions permitting.   You probably know a good friend of mine, Debbie C-W in Malta... 8-)

I plan to try clay Art Doll making this year, just look at some of the dolls online - they are MOUTHWATERINGLY wonderful...  The fairies I like.

You work looks very good and varied!

Where would I post some of my work? In Gallery??

Ange

wow this is such interesting stuff, since I last spoke to you about the clay masks and I made one, a very primitive one really, I made a head out of model clay and plasticine on a flexible artist manikin as I am making a glam rock band modelled on the Sweet, glitter, the works, and using them for an animation, yeah, I am totally bonkers, lol. I will need to improve my techniques for next year, will help for my doll crafting too. thanks for the info.   Wish there was a shop like yours near us Sharon

Anton, I Have been trying new things in Susannes doll making swaps, I am an absolute beginer and have spotted those wonderful paper clay masks that you made for her. Are they made from slip and a rubber mould, I cannot source those, or perhaps using a barbie type doll to make a plaster mould? Very intrigued to know.
Best Wishes. Shaz

Thank you. I am trying to read and understand it all.  It is a bit overwhelming for me. It takes me awhile to understand what I need to do. I just need to read it a few times. I want to show my work so I am trying to figure that out. Don't worry I will get it. Theresa

How to choose subjects for your artwork? [Open Discussion] :D

Posted on July 26, 2013 at 3:47am 3 Comments

So, stumbled on a thread where the author asked how one goes about to choose a subject: wheather by visual appeal, meaning, etc.

I thought about this and after a day of examining my working process, I came up with these hereunder (this is my personal opinion):

"How to choose subjects is a tricky question; personally it is very difficult to choose just one subject, since most of the time, I end up tackling different projects at the same time.
